While I love to write about race and its ultimate demise, I also write about prayer for the publishing house Smyth and Helwys and of late, I have been writing on ministry and motherhood upon the invitation of the editor of A Divine Duet: Ministry and Motherhood and for the community of women who balance them both.  My latest reflection is titled “He Speaks” wherein I discuss the ordinary miracle of my son learning to speak coupled with when God speaks to us.  I pray that it causes us to think more deeply about the connections our children can make to God.
