The debate over the name of Washington’s football team rages on. Despite protests over the blatantly obvious fact that it is a racial slur and an inaccurate description of persons indigenous to what is now the United States, the owner of the team has referred to the name as a “badge of honor.”  Really?  Who gave it to you and for what reason exactly?
