Paul is talking about the life and witness of Abraham and in so doing, provides us with revelatory truth and I like what he says in Romans chapter 4 in the midst of his lesson: “20No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.”
Well, I am fully convinced, fully persuaded by the words of Galatians 3.28 and Colossians 3.11, that “there is neither Jew nor Greek.” There is nothing to debate about; racial identity theory cannot persuade me. I will not argue about the promises of God; the prejudices of others do not convince me. I still believe that God is able to do what he has promised concerning our oneness in Christ.
