The New York Times has “A Conversation with Police on Race”

images-1New York Times contributors Geeta Gandbhir and Perri Peltz offer a look inside of the minds of police officers from various cities and districts who talk about why they became police officers and how race plays a role in their understanding and practice of the law.  The negative aspects of policing and the need for police to follow the rules is discussed.  It is one conversation of millions more that need to be had.  Click here to watch.
