AFTER THE BREONNA TAYLOR VERDICT: A PARABLE OF AMERICAN JUSTICE (Part Two)

He told me, “I have something that can kill those weeds and you will have new growth in the spring.”  He said, “I have it in my truck.  That’s what we do.”  He said, “I’ll go get it.”

He never came back.

I checked back an hour later and my pile of weeds remained untouched.  So I went back to work, pulling weeds and still pulling for justice.
