J. Kameron Carter on “Post- Racial Blues”

For a few days now, I have been mulling over the various meanings and interpretations of post- racial– not only for me but for others.  I want to continue to think about what the idea, the ideal and the aspiration of a post- racial society means.  J. Kameron Carter, an Associate Professor in Systematic Theology and Black Church Studies at Duke University, masterfully provides a historical and critical analyses of the word post- racial and the question of “Are we living in a post- racial society?”  I include his voice and others to assist us in thinking more in depth about race and the ways in which we rid ourselves of it.  Dr. Carter certainly provides a great argument for which to change the question.
