A race-less life is a prayer- filled life.  In order to stand strong in my conviction that God created us outside of the categories of race and without the social coloring of skin, I bow my head and bend my knees.  I could not open my mouth if I did not first fill my mouth with the Word of God.  I would not believe that it were possible if I did not fellowship with the Spirit of God.

I write about the life of the pray- er every month for the wonderful people at Smyth and Helwys.  This month’s offering is “Praying Scared.”  You don’t have to be strong or courageous.  You don’t have to dress like a “prayer warrior.”  Just pray.
